Đây là một đề bài mình sưu tầm được từ bạn bè, sau một hồi tìm kiếm thì có vẻ bài này không có trên mạng nên có thể là đề ra để ôn thi HSG QG/Tỉnh hoặc là đề mới của IELTS.
Trong loại bài giving opinion này, ta được phép sử dụng đại từ “I” hoặc “my”. Vì IELTS Opinion essay yêu cầu thí sinh phải đưa ra quan điểm của mình.
Tiện thể mình cũng muốn chia sẻ một mẩu kiến thức mà mình chợt nhớ đến. Các đề IELTS Task 2 trước khi được tung ra cho thí sinh như chúng ta làm thì họ sẽ phải cho khoảng vài trăm người thử làm cái đề đấy. Nếu mà đề đấy quá khó, không lên ý tưởng được thì họ sẽ thử viết lại câu hỏi cho dễ hiểu hơn, nếu không được thì họ sẽ bỏ câu hỏi đó ra luôn.

Theo như quy tắc của thầy Simon thì một bài luận chỉ nên có 13 câu – 14 câu và của mình hiện tại cũng đang có tổng là 13 câu.
Những con số mình đánh dấu được dùng để chỉ số câu dùng cho mỗi khổ, nếu có dấu + có nghĩa là đó là mình muốn ý (phụ) đấy được dùng làm ví dụ hoặc đưa ra giải thích cho ý chính của mình. Đôi khi mình thường sử dụng câu ghép để gộp 2 ý vào 1 câu luôn, trong trường hợp đấy thì mình sẽ sử dụng in nghiêng để các bạn dễ nhận biết chỗ nào là ý phụ.

Plan: Topic – COVID-19 and online teaching
Answer – Partly agree, online teaching for students with valid health concerns
(1) It is often argued that students should be given the choice to study at home during the Covid-19 pandemic. (2) Personally, I partly agree with this notion since some drawbacks should be taken into account.
Body Paragraph 01
Since these ideas can just be grouped into one big idea, we should go for the IEE approach, idea, explain and example.
(1) On the one hand, it is beneficial to allow some students to study at home. (2) There are many people whose immune system is much weaker than the others. (2+) This is often the case for students born with immuno-deficiency, which makes it difficult to fend off common illnesses like the flu. (3) Additionally, children might be at a lesser risk of COVID-19 than adults. (3+) Although the students contracting the virus would experience mild sicknesses, the virus could be fatal if it spread to their parents or the elders living in the family.
Body paragraph 02
Because this paragraph has a lot of different ideas, I am going for the FSF approach, listing out ideas with: Firstly, Secondly, and Finally.
(1) However, I believe that the choice to study online could hold some disadvantages. (2) First of all, students could take advantage of the pandemic to gain some day-offs from school. (2+) Pupils who wanted to stay at home could simply lie or make up a reason relating to their health so that would not have to go to school. (3) Secondly, studying with an electronic device is highly distractive [3+] as students could play video games without parents’ supervision. (4) Finally, the youngsters’ communicational skills could be hindered [4+] since they are isolated in their houses, limiting their ability to socialize with other students.
Conclusion
Repeat my view from the introduction.
(1) In conclusion, I believe that online teaching should be implemented for students during the Covid-19 but they should be let back to school after social distancing regulations have been successfully employed.
